Friends of Katie Price have advised the former glamour model not to reunite with ex-boyfriend Alex Reid.
Price dumped the cage fighter last month during a live TV interview, but recent reports have claimed she is considering giving their relationship another go.
However, close friend, TV builder Phil Turner, told the Daily Mirror that Price needed to find an alternative partner to Reid.
“Katie needs a man around her, she is always telling us that. But Alex is not the one for her. She needs to find someone else,” he said.
“She doesn’t care about being the breadwinner – none of that matters to her.”
Price began dating Reid in July – just months after her split from former husband Peter Andre.
But the former glamour star ended their relationship in September when Reid sold a story about them to a Sunday newspaper.
“Katie keeps changing her mind about Alex,” Turner said.
“She’s lonely since splitting up with Pete and I can understand that. But I wish she would find someone else.”
